We are happy to announce that the Post is bringing back First Friday dinners and weekend breakfasts!
First Friday dinners will be held…wait for it…on the First Friday of each month. Please call the Post to reserve a spot, so we know how many dinners we need to prepare.
Below are the planned menus:
- Sep 6th: Pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, cole slaw, and a dessert.
- Oct 4th: Baked chicken, rice pilaf, corn, salad, a roll, and dessert
- Nov 1st: Thanksgiving dinner – Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cauliflower and cheese sauce, a roll, pumpkin pie (buffet style)
- Dec. 6th: Skipping due to Post already being booked
- Jan 3rd: Spaghetti with meat sauce, squash and zucchini, salad, garlic bread, and a dessert
Third Saturday breakfasts will be served on the…again, wait for it…Third Saturday of each month, and will be served buffet style. Eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, breakfast casserole, and more.
