From Mitzi: In 2026, we will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, a country for which our veterans and their ancestors have fought and sacrificed.
I have been selected as an America250 Idaho Ambassador to share details with our veteran community about the events and commemorations taking place in Idaho throughout the coming year.
If you’re interested in celebrating our great nation and wish to help promote local events in Idaho, I invite you to volunteer as an Ambassador as well.
For more information, please refer to the attached flyer or visit: https://america250.idaho.gov/ambassador/
There will be many activities leading up to and throughout next year, including a celebration of the anniversary of Paul Revere’s Ride this Friday, April 18. We encourage everyone across the state to participate by displaying “two lights” in your window on Friday night or engaging in a family activity at home. More details can be found at: https://america250.idaho.gov/events-calendar/two-lights-for-tomorrow/
If you live in the Boise area, there will be a “Two Lights for Tomorrow” ceremony at the Idaho State Capitol at noon on Friday. See the above link for details.
