Operation Grateful Hearts Potato Gleaning Fundraiser

What’s better in Idaho than fresh potatoes straight out of the field? Supporting Operation Grateful Hearts and veterans!! OGH’s annual Potato Gleaning event will be on Saturday, October 1st from 8am-6pm “in a farmer’s field” just off Travis Road and Hwy 19 between Greenleaf and Wilder. Just a $10 donation per vehicle and you can take home as many potatoes as you can gather. This is also a great lesson for the kids about where our food comes from.

Join 101.9 The Bull’s Kevin & Brenda for their annual potato gleaning to benefit Operation Grateful Hearts!

Where:  In a farmer’s field just off Travis Road and Highway 19/Simplot Blvd – between Greenleaf and Wilder – watch for the signs.
When:   Saturday, October 1st 8am-6pm

Bring the whole family and enjoy a tractor drawn hayride out to the field where you can gather fresh idaho potatoes by hand!

For just a $10 donation per vehicle – you can gather as many potatoes as you want!  Don’t forget to bring your garden tools and something to gather and haul your taters home in such as bags, boxes or buckets.

100% of the potato gleaning proceeds will benefit Operation Grateful Hearts and assist Idaho’s military families, individuals and Veterans in their time of need.

There will be food trucks, freshly picked local pumpkins and lots of raffle items!

Enjoy a day in the country and get stocked up on farm fresh potatoes with 101.9 The Bull!
